This was in the movie the brave little toaster (any one remember that?)
watching it now...I just watched the execution of several cars, and one of them even committed suicide...
and the WHOLE SONG is about depression and suicide... IN A MOVIE FOR 7 YEAR OLDS.

is it bad that was my favorite song in that movie when I was little? mainly because cars, never even listened to the lyrics closely until I was like 20, then had that moment...

This scene was very scarring for me as a child. I couldn't fathom why cars would be crushed. It's even worse when they are talking and singing while they go in the crusher.

I used to watch that movie over and over again when I was a kid. The junkyard scenes were my favorite part, because of all the cars. Although, I was always sad to see them crushed.

I didn't see this movie until I was college and very drunk, so I don't even recall anything after the air conditioner made an appearance.

The death of the air conditioner was the most scarring to me. I hated him then felt really sorry after he died.
I didn't even remember this part...apparently more scarred than I thought.

I remember this scene. I thought these cars all dying was absolutely horrifying...
...then I asked for the Matchbox car crusher for Christmas.
